The fisheries and aquaculture sector in India has taken a big leap towards digital transformation with the launch of the National Fisheries Digital Platform (NFDP).



📝 What is NFDP?

The NFDP is a centralized digital platform launched by the Government of India to connect fishers, fish farmers, vendors, cooperatives, and micro-enterprises under one digital ecosystem. 

It is the technological backbone of the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi-Sah Yojana (PM-MKSSY), a sub-scheme of the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY).
