✅ What is MSP in Jute?

Minimum Support Price (MSP) is the rate set by the Government of India to ensure you get a fair price for your jute, even if market prices fall.


🏢 What is JCI?

The Jute Corporation of India (JCI) is a government body that procures raw jute directly from farmers at MSP – ensuring transparency, fair weights, and no exploitation by middlemen.


💸 What is the MSP for 2025–26?

The Government has fixed the MSP at ₹5,650 per quintal for the TD-3 grade jute for the 2025–26 season.


📅 When does procurement start?

From July 2025, JCI will begin buying jute across key growing regions.
