In the hot summer, farmers water the soil and then cover it with clear plastic. The sun heats up the soil under the plastic, just like an oven. 📝How to solarize your soil?

i.          i. Do it in peak summer (May–July in India).

ii. Clear the soil and level it.

iii. Water well moist soil heats better.

iv. Cover with black 0.003mm polythene and seal edges with soil or stones.

v. Let the sun heat the soil for 4–6 weeks.

vi. Remove the polythene and wait for 1–2 days, and then plant.

2.May not kill deep-rooted weeds

3.Use plastic carefully and dispose of it properly
